Take me to Your River
I lie amongst wet rocks
with sand between my toes
shells litter your waterbed
like an open conch
rounded edges, symmetrical curves
I get lost inside
I hear the crashing waves
tides are changing
your salty taste awakens me
go ahead and drown me
rip current swept me away
waves of delight crash over
and begin to engulf me
show me your buried treasure
send me to the depths
chase me from this sea
into shallow waters
where I can feel waterfalls
gently trickle over me
tangle me in rapids
sink me with your body
take me to your river
