Image for the poem when we grieve

when we grieve

an octet

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me.” Ps. 138:7 (NASB)

peace
amidst
the pieces
dreams fragmented
by the storms of life
but the heart not bending
finds a place upon the rocks
whence by patience gently lending
healing streams the remnant mending
still the great disquietude
as the eagle molting
so the loss brings hope
like a puzzle
solved by time
when we
grieve
