Never Again
You could hear a pin drop in the silence and stillness
Suffering nothing and yet wanting answers all the more
What was in your eyes, what were you laying bare in front of me
How could I ever live up to your expectations you set
You called me weak, you betrayed my trust, called me less than
Yet you expected me to cower at your feet and beg
Well beg no more and never again, never again
Suffering nothing and yet wanting answers all the more
What was in your eyes, what were you laying bare in front of me
How could I ever live up to your expectations you set
You called me weak, you betrayed my trust, called me less than
Yet you expected me to cower at your feet and beg
Well beg no more and never again, never again
