If You Could See What I See
…And so the celestials could not believe,
How humans can suffer from broken hearts,
Because when love seems to grieve,
The light inside awaits to overtake the dark.
Yet one of them stands at the brink,
Ready to dive and come sweep you away,
As the spirits watch with such intrigue,
Prepared to declare their love for you today.
If you just would understand your strength,
You’d know the length of your resilience,
How much you’ve traveled and battled,
You’re worth more than billions and billions.
Thus the gods have heard your cries,
Out in the beyond in the great expanse,
Your tears have crossed the galaxies,
Creating this interstellar romance.
You’ve told your story to the universe,
That even immortals too cried along,
Wishing they could hold you in your sleep,
And soothe you with heavenly songs.
The deities observe with such fascination,
Knowing you will finally break through,
Waiting on that innermost enlightenment,
When the realization comes into full view.
Know that you are worth billions upon billions,
Like stardust or more precious than any gem,
Because if you could see what I see,
You shine bright in the sky just like them.
How humans can suffer from broken hearts,
Because when love seems to grieve,
The light inside awaits to overtake the dark.
Yet one of them stands at the brink,
Ready to dive and come sweep you away,
As the spirits watch with such intrigue,
Prepared to declare their love for you today.
If you just would understand your strength,
You’d know the length of your resilience,
How much you’ve traveled and battled,
You’re worth more than billions and billions.
Thus the gods have heard your cries,
Out in the beyond in the great expanse,
Your tears have crossed the galaxies,
Creating this interstellar romance.
You’ve told your story to the universe,
That even immortals too cried along,
Wishing they could hold you in your sleep,
And soothe you with heavenly songs.

Knowing you will finally break through,
Waiting on that innermost enlightenment,
When the realization comes into full view.
Know that you are worth billions upon billions,
Like stardust or more precious than any gem,
Because if you could see what I see,
You shine bright in the sky just like them.
