Rockhollow's Abode

Title: Rockhollow's Abode
Seven of Thirty
Unique words: Sixty

#NaPoWriMo19

Sustained by heater warmth with the radio playing something folky presented as rock,
I am sheltered - bitter air doesn't scrape me inward,
a damp wood scent dances upon my spirit,
black kettle boils and white lamp
guides both eyes, pen.
There is something cathartic about sitting within this temple of your own making
praising soil that one day will become one's final home.
