Descendants of Him
We wake every day for didactic gain
For what other purpose would there be
Learning forever involving pain
To break chains that bind our being
Strong are we to be trusted in such tangible form
Ancient designs meant to brew new devastating storms
We speak of them always as untouchable beings
As we carry a light sustained by their overseeing
Gaze upon the mirror
Upon your ancient face
Know it is birthright
Know now your place
Do not sully mind with
Doubt, you will disgrace
The gifts given to you
They are to be held with grace
As in death, this place will see
Your threat and try to erase
But it cannot create
It cannot destroy
You are infinite in intangible space.
For what other purpose would there be

To break chains that bind our being
Strong are we to be trusted in such tangible form
Ancient designs meant to brew new devastating storms
