Ebb Tide

This time when the earth realigns after shifting with the tide
The seagulls are happy to defend this peaceful and wondrous time
The still ebb is meditating, her time of reflection and peace
As the breeze plays once again among the whispering trees

The sun wraps up another day with golden rays she wilfully casts
Her shadowing decent slowly fades, her allegiance to another day passed
The crested moon stood radiantly still, a portal upon the waters edge
The sound has left this idyllic time, silence now rules instead

As I ponder this still portrait
Captured by my adoring eyes
There’s no place I would rather be
Then here on earth between the tides

Shall it be when war ceases to be, the earth may realign
The beauty of peace and understanding shall reflect upon this ebb tide
The moon and stars then pave the way to each seek our heavenly worth
The sun may shine upon a time when heaven is lived on earth
