A Tear Falls
A tear falls
Sliding slowly down the cheek
To the outline of your lips
Your eyes glistening
I see the well fill up with tears
Like it is ready to overflow
In that moment
Want to hold you close
Wipe away that tear
Look into your eyes
In those overflowing wells
Want to simply kiss your eyes
Kiss those tears away with my lips
Just whisper my lips
Over the salty droplets from your soul
Sweetly taste the very essence
Those tears of emotion
Simply poetry without words
Want to drink in what you acutely feel
Hugging you closer
My heart needs to soothe you
Have you know I see you
I nestle into you
Whispering I love you
As the tears cascade downwards
From your cheek to mine
I feel them trickle
One by one
Feeling you truly for the first time
Sliding slowly down the cheek
To the outline of your lips
Your eyes glistening
I see the well fill up with tears
Like it is ready to overflow
In that moment
Want to hold you close
Wipe away that tear
Look into your eyes
In those overflowing wells
Want to simply kiss your eyes
Kiss those tears away with my lips
Just whisper my lips
Over the salty droplets from your soul
Sweetly taste the very essence
Those tears of emotion
Simply poetry without words
Want to drink in what you acutely feel
Hugging you closer
My heart needs to soothe you
Have you know I see you
I nestle into you
Whispering I love you
As the tears cascade downwards
From your cheek to mine
I feel them trickle
One by one
Feeling you truly for the first time
