seas-a-stir

Fair Maiden on the bow
Our lair is ladened, sinking how?
We must keep to the oceans brow
Toss the rusted anchor
Heave the crippled cannons
The seas-a-stir

Fair maiden on the bow
Furrowed bouts of springing force
Push us out, veer our course
Clouds are sparse, but hang low
Heavy and dark, rain will sow

Fair maiden on the bow
Harsh cliffs, but close to land
We all crave that steady warm sand
Fair maiden on the bow
Lead us home, let us stand
