Your Sun
In the quiet of every night
in chaotic unison, stars shine
illuminating our worlds
around You and me.
Although cool to my touch
the cuddling warmth
a creative creator
placed in You rapidly
oxidizes my existence!
You literally litter my path
with brilliant light
conflagrating my inner
thoughts and soul,
as well.
A slave to the Dark
I crave the cold
pining for Your cool skin
nearly as much as intimacy
deliquescing between us.
My reflecting moon light
longs. . .
I wait patiently to
bask in
dreamily in
sleeping in………….
my Sun
my Light

i am in the Dark because my Daughter is comfortable there. I can traverse from light to dark probably because of our love -- strong love -- for one another though i am still in this corporeal form.
& although i've not spilled one ounce of ink for her after she died,
I realize she influences much of my ink.......today

Omgoodness, Fallen. I didn't realize that had happened. I'm so sorry. I'm so glad you're both in such a bond still...thats the love that can still keep you wanting to get up in the morning. I saw a cardinal yesterday, it stayed in the tree off my porch..all other left but not it. They say that's a sign of a loved one. I believe it to have been my daddy. He throws me signs out here & there.. I'm glad as we weren't always so close but not from lack of love. I'm rambling I know..but thank you for sharing that. It will help me understand you better through your words too. Hugs!!
