Pain
Do not shy from pain
For it is creation
In its agony
Truth is born
The deeper felt
The greater the reward
Do not look away
But embrace it
Grab on
Ride the anguish
For in it's ugliness
Therein lies a
Polarized reward
But take heed
Avoidance is cancer
Slowly creeping through
Destroying as it festers
Leaving numbness as it cools

Author's Note
This I write for my twin sons Matthew and Mason who died shortly after they were born. So all I have physically are photos. Photos I hold onto but photos that are so hard to look upon. They show their perfect little faces and bodies. But that bitch death left her mark embedded in those photos.
