Surrounded
Feeling surrounded
Should I start worrying
That my wagons are not circled
See the arrows flying past
Maybe it’s time to get my head down
Up ward and forward through the crowd
It’s like rowing against rapids
Every effort I make Is tiring
Pushed and battered
By the waves of nameless faces
Throw me a lifeline
Anything that will pull me out
Before things get too crazy
Is there something wrong with me
Just want to stand and scream
How do you make it stop
Feeling possessed by a foreign feeling
That keeps me on edge
Want to give my confession
So I will be resurrected and saved
Should I start worrying
That my wagons are not circled
See the arrows flying past
Maybe it’s time to get my head down
Up ward and forward through the crowd
It’s like rowing against rapids
Every effort I make Is tiring
Pushed and battered
By the waves of nameless faces
Throw me a lifeline
Anything that will pull me out
Before things get too crazy
Is there something wrong with me
Just want to stand and scream
How do you make it stop
Feeling possessed by a foreign feeling
That keeps me on edge
Want to give my confession
So I will be resurrected and saved
