Restless
On jagged rocks we dwell
restless within the wounded waves
washing over our every thought
heavy,the shadows cast
elongated images of the past
fires burn but we only see ash
not crossed in answers held above
but deeply rooted in soot
cautiously we take another step
one by one, foot by foot
lost in the deserted desert of life
barren, the path is worn
depleted under a piercing sun
but still we manage to move and hope
all will be well again
I watch as the moss greens the grey
offering comfort on a rocky day
I breathe in with the movement of the sea
and hold tight to you as you hold tight to me

The restless wasn't too bad because "the moss greens the grey " and "offering comfort on a rocky day". They sound great for me Tim.
