When I read you'd thrown your hat into the ring of this years NaPo challenge, I remembered you were the first person to comment on my inaugural poem on DU. Your words left there were like a flake that has since snowballed to where I now find myself, and I wish to take this opportunity to once again thank you for your kindness in doing so.

Head up, and don't spare the horses, then perhaps we both can meet at the finish line since this is my first attempt at such a daunting challenge.
