From Betty to the Bay

I find it quite amusing
This rabbit hole of ours
Down through the vortex of secrecy
We still hold on
We wont let go

Our little hiding place
Deep down under ground
A place of wonder
Forever hoping for a heartbeat

A hello from a once known entity
Contact with an unknown alien
It has been a while
It has been a lifetime

I no longer crave what once was
I no longer seek answers
All is as it should be
....

I still carry all the memories
In my cyber brain
But do not dare to dwell their
Those images only reflect
A part of me now so far gone
I live no more regret

Distant memories fade
But my pride in you is true
I see you making waves now
Im proud i once knew you

I am moving from the space im in
Closer to the sea
Where my loves and I will prosper
Where my loves get all of me

I release the past, the heartache
Ive grown much stronger since
The world is mine, ive conquered!

Im going to the Bay
To burn my burdened bridges
And wash the ash away
