Floating Islands and I the Storm
I decipher lonely clouds
Islands scuffing up the sky
Dragging with them heavy woe
Yet still they wander to and fro
Avarice for belonging, grey in sadness
I too, stalk unburdened skies
Befriend not the lowly one
They runaway in their apathy
Realization invokes in me a brutal storm
Defiled I lament in hiding
Eyes fixed upon the heavens
Silent revelries I whisper in the dark
Shamed I transcend to nothing
Forever scorning the floating giants
An island I too have become
Death donned me wings
And as I too float upon the breeze
I drag with me heavy woe
Islands scuffing up the sky
Dragging with them heavy woe
Yet still they wander to and fro
Avarice for belonging, grey in sadness
I too, stalk unburdened skies
Befriend not the lowly one
They runaway in their apathy
Realization invokes in me a brutal storm
Defiled I lament in hiding
Eyes fixed upon the heavens
Silent revelries I whisper in the dark
Shamed I transcend to nothing
Forever scorning the floating giants
An island I too have become
Death donned me wings
And as I too float upon the breeze
I drag with me heavy woe
