I saw a girl.

This is to the day when the static mind start to swirl
To the lessons of life I learnt when I saw a girl

A moment when I was passing by the road
Starting another day of getting bored
People screaming for the space
Don't know when life got this much pace

It could be like just another day
Everything was going as it happens all day
sun scorching over my head
Through the traffic motors making their way

Then someone crossed my path
which put my heart apart
I felt that there's something more in life
than the noise, fear and the wrath

I saw an adolescent girl
who was going to school
with all the happiness on her face
with no fear of following rules

I wish I could be like her
if she could teach me to be one
Working all the life to earn
I just had become so numb

I now feel if I can go back in time
And relive the moments those were mine
looking in the sky I plea to the ruler
If everyone around could be like her

This is a story I'll never forget
that taught me to live and and leave the rest
and deal with situations with zest
that's how you can give your best

This is to the day when the static mind start to swirl
To the lessons of life I learnt when I saw a girl....

Author's Note
I have tried to show the incident that happened to me. I thought that I could learn to be free and happy and that's what I have tried to put up in my poem.
