Author's Note
A little window into my mind. This poem was basically just me, recounting the process of finding and taking a picture of a fox sparrow yesterday.
Edit: I tried to add the picture of the bird to the poem, but it blurred really bad. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know :)

Awww, thank you, flowergirl. That's a really kind compliment. I'm happy you enjoyed it. You made me smile :)
As for the picture...
It was clear until I uploaded it to here; now it's all blurry. I'm not sure what the deal is?

It's always an exciting moment when you get good looks at a beautiful bird 🐦. In this case, it had been about a year since I'd seen a fox sparrow, so it was a nice surprise :)
Hmm, perhaps it's just the way it's displaying on my device, then...
Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by 😀

Man, what a perfect Kodak moment!
You've taken the simplest of ideas, peeled the skin away, one bit at a time, and then clinched the deal.
I definitely like the progression, NewB.
Your Click cleverly breaks the tension of the monotonous Tsip in a picture perfect way.

That really means a lot, cab! You're a great guy 😁. Thanks so much for your great compliments, as usual, and for the RL entry!

You're welcome, NewB.
As a boy, I had caged birds (pigeons) at home but the cage door was always open. I was not, therefore, a full-time slave.
Ornithology has been a part of my world, as well. I'm an inactive member of the former Gosse Bird Club now called BirdLife Jamaica.

That's awesome, cab. So the birds could roam free around the house?
I have never owned birds, and didn't actually become fully interested in them until my adolescence.
Now, I am a member of my local Audubon society, but most of my observations are still alone. Since I'm an introvert, with a hobby which requires such intense focus, I'm simply better at it when I am alone.

Re: Re. Birdbrain
Thanks so much for your kind words, Whispers! I suppose you could say something like that happened. It's good to know there's other birders/photographers on here that can relate, heh 😁.

I'm really glad that you think so, U.G. Rose. This one practically wrote itself as the moment played out before me 😊
It's certainly an exciting moment when you find something unexpected or snap a nice photo of something.
Thanks for sharing your experience with me. I, myself, hope to always live in areas that are rural enough to see a good bit of wildlife.

Thanks! I'm really happy that you enjoyed my poetry. I had hoped the picture might add to the whole experience, so I'm glad that you think so too! If I had it my way, I would have put the picture after the poem, rather than before to go after the click of the camera shutter, but I don't think there's a way to do that.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read and comment! It means a lot!

Yeah? I'm not sure what you mean by that exactly, but I'm really glad that it was relatable to you. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your positive energy :)

Oh dear I apologize for the confusion, and I know that this
is a nature poem...
it's just that I'm entwined in a project right now due to the
nature of my job ... but I've been finding my brain overloaded
from strategizing .. that's all...and at the end of the day im
melted by bathing myself in other things, with a side glass
of wine lol
Birds are very observational creatures within their beautiful makeup,
they are calculating, deliberate and tactical..
Anywho, I ramble....perhaps another language barrier, so I'll
stay silent..

Hey Noire... You have nothing to apologize for. Thanks for the additional information! Now it is more clear what you were getting at :)
I do appreciate you stopping by. No need to feel self conscious... and thanks for breaking your silence to leave me a comment here!
