In between desperation and gratitude pt2/ extreme empathy

Extreme empathy leaves me feeling empty..
drained actually,
Can't help but absorb the energy of the room,
overanalyzing vibes
down to the most delusional detail.
Damn..
overwhelming asfuck
Suddenly I feel stuck
mind running amuck.
Sober or stoned
doesn't matter
brain still floods with chatter.
Feeling the emotions echo through the atmosphere,
emptiness is ever present.

Hurts my soul
To know
you feel this way,
Hurts to know
your pain is constant.
No peace for me
knowing your suffering won't cease.
The despair radiates
I can't help but
absorb the stress and chronic discomfort
permeating the ambience.
We hope..
We try to stay optimistic
but for me
there's a lingering feeling of...
Complete existential despair.
At times I feel as if I'm the one
polluting the air
with my hopeless thoughts..
I'm caught in a battle I can't win...
The war within.

Is this where I've always been?
Cant remember when I wasn't so anxious.

Extreme empathy,
I'm apart of the emptiness epidemic..

Drained
 past insanity
  no trace of humanity..

I'm zoned
out
I'm droning
I'm sinking
I'm slipping
through the scenes
lost in the machine..
another dreary dope fiend.

Falling in between
transcendence and swarming sadness..
Secluding me deeper.

What's to be done?
No where to run
Shouldn't we be having fun?
Before the day comes
When the sun won't shine
Before we see we are divine..

Even through this haze of sorrow,
this universal truth
I can see
clearly.

Is there a "me"?
Maybe there's only we.

So tomorrow when you wake up
don't let the day drag you down
don't let the thoughts drown you.

for my fellow souls
the ones who suffer,
pretty much all of us..

Though you're out of view
I understand when you say you have the blues
