Tasting Your Phrases

We melt into each other as do words
We share, along with phrases edged with mist;
Their insubstantial chill may once have spurred
Us to new territory; subtle twists
Of hands in gloves and mittens could align
Our thoughts and then our lips, which are not cold
When locked together in a kiss inclined
To last throughout all winters; is it bold
For me to slip my hand against your thigh,
When we both pause for breath? I'd motivate
Your hardness with my closeness; who'd deny
The delights that we find, when we create
Passionate waves, wherever I'd have knelt
To taste your phrases every time I melt...
