Stranger
What would
You do,
If you saw me
On the street?
Would you walk
Past me,
Like a stranger?
I would give anything,
For you to run,
Into my arms,
Because,
I’d hold you close,
Like never before,
I miss the life I used to own,
My heart has been
Robbed,
I would give
Anything,
For that moment
For you to
Be mine once
Again,
At first,
I blamed you,
But now,
I have seen,
What I was,
Id give anything
To show you,
I have change,
Only I know that
Time will never come,
It has been five months,
Without you,
It has been a
Long struggle.
I wish we could talk,
Like before,
And laugh,
If I were
To see you on the street,
In all honesty
I am not sure,
How I would react,
I would want, to run
And hold you as close
And as long as I ever could,
But I feel you,
Would walk past.
Like a stranger,
Like what we had was nothing,
I just want you to know,
Not like you will ever find out,
But I still,
Miss you.
A hole has been burned into
My heart,
And I want it full again,
Because the drugs,
The liquor
And even others,
Will never replace it.
I always was
The type to never beg,
But I beg,
For my heart back.
