A Walk in the Woods

A Walk in the Woods

I walked
Along
The creek
Today,

Tracks
And foot prints
Touched
The way,

And as
The forest
Closed
Me in,

This thought
Became
My only
Fin.

To touch
Her bark
And know
Her limbs

To stay
Until
The moonlight
Dims.
