The Haven
“Come with me?” I whisper
The words caress you as they brush past your ear
Lie next to me in this idyll
Where we can be free
In mind and in body
For the short time we are here
Together.
“Can I touch you?” I ask.
I want to enfold you in my arms and never let you go
I could lie here for hours if you were to stay
Running fingers along the contours of your chest
With every stroke of your skin
I try to convince you
To escape
Just us two
“Come with me” I whisper.
The words caress you as they brush past your ear
Lie next to me in this idyll
Where we can be free
In mind and in body
For the short time we are here
Together.
“Can I touch you?” I ask.
I want to enfold you in my arms and never let you go
I could lie here for hours if you were to stay
Running fingers along the contours of your chest
With every stroke of your skin
I try to convince you
To escape
Just us two
“Come with me” I whisper.
