we should learn to do both when we witness the love of others we learn that we are lovable and so the journey starts :-)))))))))))))))

In all the brevity it gives a lot to think about. I do know through experience in the times (that I am not proud of ) it is hard to love others when I am not happy with or loving myself. You are so right though it is better to look outward to reach others and this can help with our outlook on ourselves.

my main thrust is the feeling of being unloved, even being undeserving of love. Witnessing love of yourself by others can start to crush those feelings.
