Stoned to the bone
Stoned, alone
tired, feeling higher,
Eyes as red as the fading sunset in distant skies.
Mouth, dry as a desert on mars.
Relaxed, calm.
Head spinning slightly,
a mild dizziness.
A momentary escape from the busyness.
Oblivious
to the overwhelming
Hysteria.
A trance of some kind,
A dance of the imagination.
"I feel so high
I even touch the sky"
This I cannot deny,
Never could I lie about being so very high.
