Comfort me, don't save me.
Reimburse me for my fate,
fill my hollow, tired eyes.
Tell me now it's not too late,
Tuck me in with tainted lies.
Havoc falls like heavy rain,
As I tread with shallow breaths.
Sinking further in my pain,
I feel it slosh inside my chest.
Save my soul or dive right in,
Drowning by association.
I swore that I knew how to swim,
but doubt cut off my circulation.
I'm in a tree of branching reasons,
each one tearing through my past.
My luck is bad through every season,
as leaves of why fall to the grass.
Half asleep but still aware,
even guarded in my dreams.
What you deal with can't compare,
my smile isn't what it seems.
fill my hollow, tired eyes.
Tell me now it's not too late,
Tuck me in with tainted lies.
Havoc falls like heavy rain,
As I tread with shallow breaths.
Sinking further in my pain,
I feel it slosh inside my chest.
Save my soul or dive right in,
Drowning by association.
I swore that I knew how to swim,
but doubt cut off my circulation.
I'm in a tree of branching reasons,
each one tearing through my past.
My luck is bad through every season,
as leaves of why fall to the grass.

even guarded in my dreams.
What you deal with can't compare,
my smile isn't what it seems.
