The Life Machine
Sever my ears from me
So I no longer hear the noise
Slice my mouth off
No one listens to my screams anyway
Scoop out my eyes
I don't want to see the world anymore
There's nothing but hate and evil here
I will reject it, even if I must be dismembered
No pieces left to be remembered
But yet here I am
Tubes shoved down my throat to make me breathe
Wires attached to keep my vitals going
Forced to live a life I never wanted in the first place
Why do you get pleasure from my suffering?
Who's the selfish one?
They say they think it's me
I say I think it's you
Who traps me so you can stay happy
You drain me so dry
Taking my money, taking my choices, taking my freedom
TaKiNg My SaNiTy
What can I give you to let me go?
My soul?
You're out of luck
I'd forsaken mine a long time ago
Did you ever wonder why I'm so cold?
Hey here's another rhyme, I don't think I'll grow old
So I no longer hear the noise
Slice my mouth off
No one listens to my screams anyway
Scoop out my eyes
I don't want to see the world anymore
There's nothing but hate and evil here
I will reject it, even if I must be dismembered
No pieces left to be remembered
But yet here I am
Tubes shoved down my throat to make me breathe
Wires attached to keep my vitals going
Forced to live a life I never wanted in the first place
Why do you get pleasure from my suffering?
Who's the selfish one?
They say they think it's me
