Woodland Walk

Near to my home there's a place I roam
A spiritual retreat where I feel so calm
A wooded hill shrouded in mystery
A sacred place where I can be free
Here nymphs wander in the tree stand
Catching sunbeams with elegant hand
A carpeting of wild bluebells they enjoy
Their silvered laughter shouts of joy
You'll hear if silent and still you stay
If sound or movement you do betray
They'll disappear without a trace
Never to return to this soulful place
