Dated Kisses
January 30, 2014 at 2:09pm
I used to date
my poems ----
the words all
penned for
You
laid out like a
blanket and
blanketed and
ready to cuddle
and
Kiss
You on the lips.
No longer dated
for I now
see. . .
And each hug
And each kiss
is new.
I believe
it was always
this way,
even during the
late date
trysts in our
evenings and
our daylit
histories.
I love how our
intimacy has
grown, now
that we stopped
keeping
track.
