Lust Came Beckoning
As lust came beckoning;
melancholy was her mind
and body bereft
Against all logic,
she gave her entirety to him
His words and thoughts slivered
and ensnared without warning
His body and mind;
she also sequestered,
in a game of suggestion
knowing every card to play
Between her thighs now lush,
with a vengeance, his thoughts coiled
as her sweet ache,
he resurrected
and once again,
exuded excitement
Upon their souls
and in their minds;
they embedded, pierced and branded themselves
In each endeavor; they clinged
and every feeling; they coveted
With an indisputable force
and intensity unexplainable,
from miles away could two become one As the music continued to shuffle,
they felt each longing kiss,
every stroke and surrender
as their names rolled off the others tongues
Her body thrived in his fires,
ablaze was she in every waking thought With lust ridden essays;
she sang to him
his mind and body awakened;
like no other, his admission
They felt so alive
and to the point of obsession,
without warning and fairness
their bodies thrived in their fairytale of fire until the embers simply turned to dust
Oh, to turn back the hands of time
for that nostalgic feel of euphoria;
fires only he could ignite and songs only she could sing
as when lust once came beckoning
melancholy was her mind
and body bereft
Against all logic,
she gave her entirety to him
His words and thoughts slivered
and ensnared without warning
His body and mind;
she also sequestered,
in a game of suggestion
knowing every card to play
Between her thighs now lush,
