Indeed a very heavy write and a heartfelt situation. Child abuse (any abuse) should be considered an act of crimes against humanity for the horrible consequences it leaves. Very good ink. J

I agree with you 100%, yes the consequences last a lifetime for the ones who live this life, I was one, and it haunts me day after day.

I've noticed that every time I reread your poem, I've interpreted it differently. I personally think that's brilliant, because it allows the readers to engage with your poem and come to their own conclusions.
