Dirt
I've been hurt
and I don't care
I've been dirt
and I don't care
Dirt is the fertile ground
from which everything grows
and where I go to
in the end
anyway
and I don't care
I've been dirt
and I don't care
Dirt is the fertile ground
from which everything grows
and where I go to
in the end
anyway

Feel you, Angel...sometimes it's hard not to care, though.
Nice writing, my friend.

That's a good spark of inspiration! You are so keyed in on the yin and the yang. Really glad you are here, and I am able to follow your writes as they bleed out of you.

Nice to hear your words again, Angelast. A nice line you take. Humans are seriously made up of dirt/microbes/bacteria/viruses all doin' their thing and amazingly co-operating to help our bodies function.

Daddy always said letting them get dirty keeps them healthy. We have a natural affinity for dirt!
Well done.

Yes, maybe it's because astrologically I am an earth sighn, which makes for a special relation to dirt....

I've heard where people like to be buried under a tree to release nutrients and help it flouish
