Good Morning
One walk of a glance across the street
and I have a gloomy, heavy feeling
in my shrinking heart which does not say
rather conveys the stabbing mounting doubt
if there has been any invention called melody
and any discovery known as joy and laughter
also it questions do we still breathe to live
or have we switched to having life to just breathe
A planet of redundant sleepwalkers or
w h a t e v e r
and I am back in my room
having downed a couple
with the blinds down
and the sun hiding
and crumpled sheets
and broken glass around
I have the Tee-vee
for company as my eyes scan
the streets for the millionth time
to only see
Gloom
somnambulism
embolism
w h a t e v e r.
