Where is my fallen angel now?
The stream of love no longer flows.
I bathe beneath her fading star,
Escaping dreams so long ago.

I feel the contours of her flesh.
Her distant voice will never die.
She whispers from her balcony,
Across the waves in lullabies.

As winter falls on thorny ground,
Her fabled sigh retreats in mist.
An evanescent memory,
Forever lost in summer bliss.

The halo of her golden crown,
Still resonates inside my mind.
Though love was frozen in her heart,
Forgotten souls embrace through time.
