I was expecting more than what a usual woman does
I knew you would make accusations and fix me grub
But for some odd reason I felt a hidden potential
I thought you would reach it
But many months passed
After a year of trials
The relationship felt lax
I didn't want to try for love
Since disappointment is associated
So when I felt the disappointment
I was stunned to say the least
What possessed me to think you were special
I was expecting more because you talked so high
You sold dreams to me that were so nice
You wanted to include me and have my heart
So you slew me and I believed in you
So I'm still expecting more
Cause I know how much more means to you.
