My insides are alight
My head is throbbing
My jaw is clenched tight
I’m about to break
I’m about to snap
Tonight I’m too angry to sleep
As the clock rolls past midnight
My skin seethes
My insides are steaming
My eyes are wide open
My heart is pounding
I want to yell
I want to scream
The rage is boiling to the brim
Smoking
Embers arise
Leaking from my eyes
I want to destroy
Break
Fight
My insides are alight
And the flames are consuming me tonight
