Image for the poem Butterfly

Butterfly

I softy moaned my heart’s desire
He came unto my Chi like a beautiful rainstorm
Merged my brain with his, rapture felt as molten fire
Sultry words kept my heart basked in his comforting warmth

Invaded the Charka root of my soul with poetic dreams
Two lips serenading, consoling within the blindness of dark
Revealed cadence of his bodily songs, so true, so sweet, so serene
So many lyrics for others, so many melodies, yet, his voice silently larks, his love lashes tenderly marks

Dripping whispers of tasted honey
You’ve famishly sapped of the maple tree
Roses, chocolates given of heart, blue skies caressed, kisses to marvel in, endless skies to soar, days so sunny
My essence, my heart, you’ve asked of me, wishes blanketing my gentle needs

Alone I must journey on
Our music has sailed on the wind
Echoes, passion, moans, desires, lust, to your ears, yet not the sheet music of a lover’s song
Go my love, fly to the quiet horizon, lost hearts shall mend, a sealed kiss upon my love letter I sweetly send

Author's Note
Metamorphosis has always been the greatest symbol of change for poets and artists. Imagine that you could be a caterpillar one moment and a butterfly the next.
