my eyelids are leaking again

I was able to mop these up....

1. a beautiful Indian woman walking in a black silk dress, her lines rivet my eyes, a blood red shawl covers her stare, she owns the sidewalk with each step.

2. angular block drawing brown like I've never seen, shadows make the color an emotion that bleeds in tears / window well in Manhattan east side rusted into sadness - beauty in the texture of light.

3. a Vineyard
coast of california
greens/blues/whitecaps/salt wind/ vines
top hat sits gathering sea dust.
a gull blows north
mutt dog trots like a thoughobred.
wide asleep on a bed of seagrass.

4. black wool uniform stands before me empty
stale.lifeless and stoic.
I bow in shame that I didn't go to war.
