Water nymph

She smothers me
This fluid temptress
She won’t let me be
My liquid empress
I raise her high
Giving her own crown
Our love making nigh
Even if I may drown
She has conquered me
In all places water
River, lake and sea
She gave me no quarter
But I always go willing
When ever she calls
Lungs demand her filling
And consciousness falls
So full of her lust
That I would die
Her needs still a must
As my last breath does fly.

I have mastered men
Where ever I run
Lust beyond ken
Have left them undone
They follow me everywhere
In their great wild thirst
And I devour without care
I hardly remember the first
They think I'm controlled
As they first enter me
But soon they’re enrolled
And can never break free
But some entertain
With their wile and charm
And so I refrain
And leave them without harm
But all who have been
Into my great depths
Remember what they have seen
Until their own deaths.
