addiction

and even though I can't
fly and punch a hole in
the earth
or call down mystic
lightening bolts from
Olympus
or am faster than a
speeding snail

maybe I can save a
few
just a few

and put out the fire
in their brain
and help them to
walk those twelve
holy steps

so that they will
come know the
serenity of the
cool breeze of
sobriety...
