Laws of attraction seem relevant here. Though many are somewhat familiar with the term, these days, I've heard many interpretations of them and many I would personally consider displaying a lack of understanding. In one sense, prayer, focused thought and intention, a form of vibration in a universe composed of energy and sound, draws that which we intend to us. The misconception I most often encounter is that people do not consider that much of their intentionality remains unconscious, mired in long repeated negativity and self defeatism. In simpler terms, many people refuse to get out of their own way.
