I've been known to make you smile by looking into your eyes
dismiss all your questions and alleviate every surprise
Its been known you melt in my arms and its there you reside
its where you feel safe and knowing no fear there subsides
You've been known as the gorgon whith the deadly gaze
but true love befell you like midnight haze
It erased the curse and allowed you to embrace
I've been known you were the physical manifestation of grace
descended upon me to help me atone for my past
Cause in loving you I feel the need for purity at last
I've been known as the relentless tyrant who only lusted
But since you arrived
I've been known as the advocate of the tender hearted
An empathatic warrior who in you has found a home
Delegating my followers with words of hope
Instead of violence, which prior made hearts stone
I've been known to rise at the crack of dawn
Look at the morning sky and yawn
with tears on my cheeks, much more meek
than I've been known to be in prior weeks
