Well, I think you did very nicely. I understood it before I read the Author's Note, though I'm still not sure if it's a 'Jack and the Bean Stalk' style drawing or a road map to no where. :-)
(the cactus and sputtering puffs of smoke leads toward the latter, however, you should see my rendition of the 'Mona Lisa'

Thank you Soledad! I've been way too distracted and depressed by outside influences lately that I've had trouble writing. I'm slowly gaining serenity again so I the words should once again coalesce. Just need to stop worrying 'bout things beyond my control.

Words of wisdom, above Gahdess.  You haven't made the mistake that I have, writing even when I don't feel up to it.  It's best to simply rest.  In any case I love this senryu, and the napkin lay out.  Better than I can do by far!  Looks like your depression's on its way out.

Thank you Sir Crow!  I certainly hope so. I originally planned to use a stock photo of tumbleweeds but then settled on something more personal that also made me stretch artistically.
