Danube

My roads -
You follow them all.
Forcing me to go, to stand
In the face of my every fear,

Like your waters -
Deep and unclear.

I see you again, crossing my way,
Like a coming doubt.
The solution, I ask about.
Unknown you stay.

In my eye, I feel you anew.
Like a glittering jewel,
Pieces of light,
Tonight,
You tremble and shine.
Reflection of past, present alive.
Inkling of what
Will gonna be.

You leave me
Wondering:
Am I just going

Where
            You
                   Cleared
                                The
       Paths?

Author's Note
The oldest known roads were the rivers... This is deeply personal poem, because, this year, my progression and learning was closely bonded to the biggest European river - Danube, and it still continues to follow the roads of my life. It's so obvious, that makes me wonder, are we deeper linked to this big water flows...
