Days of peace (Quattern)
You give me days of peace within your arms;
I need these terribly. Ragged and worn,
I'm exhausted by those without your charms
Who assault love's fortress in every form;
I really cannot face the world, until
You give me days of peace within your arms;
It doesn't matter when you fuck me; thrill
Me with your hardened presence: it so calms;
I will adore you always through the storms
That seem to plague us both throughout this life;
You give me days of peace within your arms;
Where I'm wrapped, overjoyed, lost to all strife;
The struggles that we press against are known;
And, yet, there are invisible alarms,
Dispelled only once I see black clouds gone:
You give me days of peace within your arms.
I need these terribly. Ragged and worn,
I'm exhausted by those without your charms
Who assault love's fortress in every form;
I really cannot face the world, until
You give me days of peace within your arms;
It doesn't matter when you fuck me; thrill
Me with your hardened presence: it so calms;
I will adore you always through the storms
That seem to plague us both throughout this life;
You give me days of peace within your arms;
Where I'm wrapped, overjoyed, lost to all strife;
The struggles that we press against are known;
And, yet, there are invisible alarms,
Dispelled only once I see black clouds gone:
You give me days of peace within your arms.
