Soul Wager
I am everything
The cruel and the unseen
Through long spaces
I have arrived
I'm human enough
Sentient meat to some degree
But don't look too deep
You just might see
Jagged like teeth
And the skin pulling beneath
Eyes hunger and devour
Every taste of you
I hide my hide
In woven black tapestry
My voice low and dragon sighed
Revealing yet kind
But pay no mind
For I have a riddle to say
One day I offer for all you desire
Love, lust, receive
You were young
With a shine once bright
But those days have long passed
With no relief in sight
For a little while
Become what you vision
No quarter, no back door recital
Come all or not at all
There is a catch
So little you need not worry
But overstay too long
You'll fall behind
Don't interrupt, I did not lie
But when miles down
You wonder why
The cruel and the unseen
Through long spaces
I have arrived
I'm human enough
Sentient meat to some degree
But don't look too deep
You just might see
Jagged like teeth
And the skin pulling beneath
Eyes hunger and devour
Every taste of you
I hide my hide
In woven black tapestry
My voice low and dragon sighed
Revealing yet kind
But pay no mind
For I have a riddle to say
One day I offer for all you desire
Love, lust, receive
You were young
With a shine once bright
But those days have long passed
With no relief in sight
For a little while
Become what you vision
No quarter, no back door recital
Come all or not at all
There is a catch
So little you need not worry
But overstay too long
You'll fall behind
Don't interrupt, I did not lie
But when miles down
You wonder why
