Not enough cash to pay the rent
but I've had my eye on an affordable tent
and I took a long walk and had a quick peek
at a sweet little spot by the creek
and I gave her a cigarette
both her and I met
as we walk along forever together
forever and ever and ever and ever
Hand in hand, we understand
holding each other's hand
walking together no longer alone
towards home sweet home

but I was just walking by a woman in Hell
and i told her
I would walk right back
with some calamine lotion,
clean socks
and a snack........
