Queen

We could have made
Colonies
Out of our desire
Hatching each one by name,
If you had wanted to
With fingers
Traveling
Across shoulders
Organizing
The collective
Self
You would've been
Queen
Outliving
The drone
That serviced you
And sustained...
Vastly maturing
Mounds.
