GREEN EYES
it's the little things that make me smile. it's the little things I haven't had in a while. it's the little things that make his worth while. it's the little things that gunna break this trial.
a simple how u doing a simple how u feeling a simple how's your day a simple let us pray.
he's like a blessing in disguise. tearing down my pride. he's tearing down these walls, that I build up every time.
he's bringing me Jah's word. he's showing me my worth. he's proving that real love still exists in this earth. his words are like swords ready to help fight these battles. his words are like armor, a soldier in god's army. it's all for the righteous plan and it couldn't be no better timing. this man doesn't understand the little things was all I was striving.
this man doesn't understand the path I was on, I had lost my calling. this man doesn't understand he's a blessing.
sitting here smiling cos I know it's Jah's planning. he had us cross paths, right wen I felt my soul was dieing. trust in the lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understandings. find the one u trust in giving your confidings.
now I wake up every day and give thanks and praise. I'm reminded of the love that is always been there day to day. NOW it's the little things I hear it's the little things I see it's the little things I speak that help me plant the seed. to help me grow into the woman of my dreams. from a lady to a queen chasing after the king of kings

I wrote this for a friend, Green Eyes, who used to always keep me accountable and check up on me when I was out doing things I shouldn’t and he knew I wanted to stop but wouldn’t. He is very strong in his faith and would always read me scriptures & talk to me about how much God loved me. Thank you. The day I wrote this I was feeling so alone and then he called, uplifted me, and I felt great.
