Two Doors
Opening two doors
Can be like
Opening the world
Unto its core

Opening your soul

Grateful to be able to touch you. Going through some of my older stuff. Finding gems. :)

"Opening a door can lead to wonderful desires
Or low expectations, that can set your soul on fire,
"But the journey taken is the journey we choose
Either causing us a joyful dance or to sing the blues."

Beautiful Medinda! (and the poem was pretty good, too). KIDDING, my friend. You're an awesome writer, always pensive, and smart.
Love,
Matthew.

Reminds me of a cartoon over here called Mr.Benn, lol. Check it out maybe? or Narnia & the Wardrobe. I like how this poem leads me to imagine 'What if...' what if I could escape into another world or dimension simply by opening two doors. Were you high when you wrote this one? lol. I mean that in the nicest possible way. It wreaks of escapism & I like that. One door won't do it but two will!
Is there any way back for us once we've opened these doors? ;-)

Being 100% honest, no telling where my mind was at the time. Clearing out old notebooks. (Watch out for the flood)
No date or particular point of reference found. But I like where it goes as well. Wherever your imagination takes you.

They say once you've opened a door you cannot close it (or was that me? lol). The door could be a mental as well as a metaphorical one. I like where this poem is taking me. It's a sort of choose your own adventure. You're not telling us the direction of travel but you are showing us a glimpse of the possibilities.
